How We Got Here
Root Structure started as a couple of people who simply loved working with their hands and being outdoors. What began as weekend projects for friends and family grew into something bigger — a company built on the belief that outdoor spaces deserve the same care and craftsmanship as the homes they surround.
Small, focused, and experienced — our team has decades of combined hands-on work in landscapes, carpentry, and hardscapes.
Two-thirds of our team grew up in the Omaha community. We live where we work.

A Small Team That Builds Big Impact
RSO grew out of a shared frustration with the “cookie cutter” mentality in the landscaping and outdoor building industry. The city offers several fencing, retaining wall, and landscaping companies. However, as our work shows, we take a big picture approach by applying several of these to fit our clients specific derires. We wanted to do it differently — with real materials, real craftsmanship, and people who genuinely care about the finished product.

We didn’t set out to be the biggest. We set out to build things the right way. A straight fence. A level patio. A deck that feels like it was always meant to be there. That’s what drives us — and it’s what keeps our clients coming back.
